Skills for construction

These five modules support the teaching of a range of Level 1 qualifications in construction and can be used as an introduction to the industry and its crafts. They do not supply a complete programme of learning. Instead, aspects of the training that place a particular demand on literacy, language and numeracy skills have been prioritised. Other sets of materials of interest include Entry to Employment, First Aid, Painting operations, Trowel operations, ICT and Health and Safety (including manual handling).
