Interactive Materials

These are interactive literacy and numeracy practice materials, designed to supplement teaching. The practice material is generic and has been set in everyday recognisable settings. These activities are written to practise rather than teach key aspects of literacy and numeracy. However there are clear explanations of each skill, which can be repeated, and each activity ends with a reminder or tip.

Materials are included from Milestones 7-8 of the pre-entry curriculum framework, through the Entry levels to Level 2. 

These materials will be of interest to a wide range of teachers in all settings, including Skills for Life, functional skills and key skills teaching and learning. Vocational, employability and community teachers will find useful resources in the embedded learning materials.
