Celebrating Success

On 1 December 2004, learners, tutors, policymakers and stakeholders gathered to celebrate the success of adult learners all over the country. In the three years since the Skills for Life strategy was launched, over 2.4 millions learners have taken up over 4.8 million learning opportunties, and over 750,000 of them have gone on to achieve National Qualifications in literacy, language or numeracy.
