Delivering Skills for Life - pack:

Delivering Skills for Life supports teachers and managers as they prepare to introduce the new teaching and learning infrastructure surrounding adult basic skills. The pack contains key source documents and briefing papers that we believe will be of practical use to managers, planners, trainers and teachers of adult literacy, numeracy and ESOL.

Delivering Skills for Life - booklet:

The Delivering Skills for Life booklet and accompanying CDROM. The CDROM contains pdf versions of the National Standards, FENTO’s subject specifications, the core curricula for literacy, numeracy, ESOL, the pre-entry curriculum  framework for literacy and numeracy  and briefing sheets..

Planning Learning and Recording progress and Achievement (PLRA)

The PLRA project has developed a guide designed for managers, co-ordinators and teachers of adult literacy, numeracy and ESOL. It is designed to help practitioners develop procedures and recording systems for their own organisations, evaluate and revise their current systems and procedures and improve the effectiveness of current practice.

'Planning Learning and Recording Progress & Achievement: a guide for practitioners’ has now been published and is available from DfES Publications on 0845 60 222 60. The reference you will need to quote is PLRA1.
